Woodworking Plans Q and A's

If I want to do the top part of the wall a sort of chocolate brown …what color do I do the bottom part of the wall? Looking for decorating advice or ideas of websites that I can go to and few some suggestions! Help!

    You could go with white, Or do the the entire wall chocolate, and a white semi-gloss on the crown moulding and chair rail and other trim would look fantastic!

    Go to http://www.Behr.com — look for a color close to the chocolate color you’d like to use and they’ll show you coordinating colors. You can fill it into a sample room to see how the colors look together – but the colors themselves aren’t terribly accurate.

    I love crown molding! & the chair rail will really pop out if you paint the wall choc brown…is the chair rail & molding painted or wood? I would paint it white, or cream, and then do the bottom half a lighter shade of mocha.
