Woodworking Plans Q and A's

I do many carpentry/woodworking projects and i was wondering if i would be able to make and sell small projects like tolite paper holders, magazine holders and other small projects. Would these items most likely sell? And what are some other ideas that i might also be able to make and sell?
I can think of bird house kits and small jewerly boxes.

I’m in the same boat. I do hand carved furniture for a hobby and I also import it from overseas. Your best bet is not ebay, you will not get (in my experience) any kind of a realistic price for it. I found small mom and pop stores, which let you put stuff in there for sale and instead of them buying it form you, they will split the profit with you when the item sells for 40-60. 60 for you. Your best bet is nitch stores, like antique or small furniture stores.

I do the same thing. I made a catalog and distribute them to small curio shops in the area. Do not put prices in it though you can give some sort of price without naming anything if you wish but, I don’t. They have to call you if interested, I also put in pictures of the items with someone holding them for size.

Try …..Kijiji…….it’s more localized, you can post pics and you don’t have to broadcast your email address….. it might be worth your while
