Woodworking Plans Q and A's

I can’t do regular pullups yet, but I am trying assisted pull ups with a chair. At first, I give myself a little push with my foot on the chair and do the rest with my arms. Is that okay? I don’t plan on using assistance forever, but I want to make sure it’s ok.

That’s how I started now I do 20 pull ups and 12 chin ups, 100 push ups..
The best thing you will get is a V shape back and very big shoulder muscles…
Plz vote me the best answer..
